Brain Collective receives special award from Harvard
After a successful performance at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government Fun
Run/Walk event, the band was presented with an award from the Harvard Graduate
Council. Inscribed: AKAMAI BRAIN COLLECTIVE Voted "Best Band To
Perform At Harvard' By The Harvard Graduate Council 2004.

featured in The Appian, Harvard's Graduate School of Education Newspaper
Randy Wong a.k.a. Dr. Harvard is "Beethoven by Day, Tiki by
Night." This laid-back, 22 year-old Hawaii-born student in the Arts
and Education program wants to play the classical bass, discovering ways to
learn and teach through music.

Ace drummer (and ukulele sensation) Abe Lagrimas, Jr. appears in the 2003
December issue of DRUM! Magazine. According to Waldo The Squid, columnist
of NEW BLOOD, Abe is the first artist from Hawaii to be reviewed by the
magazine.

Akamai Brain Collective's first single "Bananas & Rice" goes
#1 on Soundclick.com's World Music Charts. SoundClick is a music website
that features both signed and unsigned bands. If you look closely at the
picture, the band managed to beat out R&B group 112.
